As the sun faded below the darkened sky,
The moon rose with a light that shown across the horizon.
The scent of the wind grew cold
The tears of the nearby stream froze dead.
A wave of her wrist –
she rose from the ashes of fall’s fallen leaves - Gravely awaiting the nightfall’s sweet embrace.
The winter solstice had finally arrived ...
The maid who was born of its frigid light ...
Had risen once again to charm the earth with her icy touch.


That was a little something I wrote about this image.
Thanks so much to the lovely for letting me use a beautiful stock photo of her. This art took me a whole day to complete and I am very satisfied with the outcome. It looks quite lovely. Notice the slight white ice cracks across her pale skin.

I rendered the water, added the sparkles and made the whole thing pretty much from scratch and imagination. I used a crackle brush of ‘s ... but other than that.. the rest is my work. it took me about a day... just imagine what I could do if I spent as much time as some other artists on DA... 100+ hours.. etc.. my goodness, I couldn't imagine working THAT hard on an a image..

This is probably one of my more original arts...(Though not one of my arts are actually alike ) I am finally learning how to use Photoshop... and did this completely with it.
