Handmade Anubis Bust (UPDATE: SOLD)

This is the first clay bust I've ever made! I got a whole box of sculpting tools for Christmas last year so I started using them and this was the first project I took on! He is about 7 Inches tall, has glass eyes, Metal hand coiled earrings, hand painted details and color (black) EVERYTHING molded and formed BY MY HAND from SCRATCH! He took me about 2 FULL DAYS to complete. I'd say about 12 Hours of work.... Yeah, a lot, I know but he came out pretty nice I think. (I hope you like him, too!). His eyes almost glow - it's beautiful!

Also, I didn't want to give him the eye of Horus design on his eyes because I wanted him to look a little different than the standard ones. Ssomeday I hope to remake him larger and more muscular. I just learning more about sculpting as I go, though so it takes time to perfect when you're self-taught.
