To those who steal artThere isn't much to say to those who steal art.To those who steal art by Graphix-Goddess
I only wish they'd stop and take a message from the heart.
I ask, that for a moment, you stop and hear my plea.
Art is blood poured from our veins displayed for all to see.
Art is life and truth and tears,
Joy and pain and hopes and fears.
To those who steal art, I have written you a poem.
I know that you won't listen, you'll roll your eyes and groan.
But think twice before and give away what was never yours to start.
And imagine, how many years of love had been given to that art.
Playing GodPlaying God by Graphix-Goddess
I withdrew the needle from the vial of serum and then pierced it into the rat’s flesh. The rat reared it’s head back and squealed in pain beneath my tight grasp. I felt sorry for it for a moment—like I always had. Part of me always knew the poor bastards didn’t deserve to be experimented on. But science would be nothing without the decades of labor and pain. And even death. Of specimen or scientist.
I watched as a deep red color skittered through its veins—the antivirus—pumping through the rat’s vascular system much faster than I had anticipated, spreading throughout its body at breakneck speed. I set the syringe down onto the table beside me and stared at the rat.
“How long until you see results?” Ceros asked, approaching from behind and leering over my shoulder at the creature.
“An hour. Maybe two,” I said, shrugging. “It depends. Trials never seem to go the way you—” I froze.
